Kiran Ryali is an Indian-American artist & technology entrepreneur who lives and works in San Francisco. He was born in India and raised in Macau, later studying in many cities across the United States. In 2012, he graduated with a Computer Science degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Upon graduation, he was recruited to be an early software engineer at a small card processing startup called Square. In 2015, Kiran retired from a prolific career as a technical lead and decided to focus on creative pursuits. He taught himself to draw and later studied at the Academy of Art & San Francisco Art Institute. In 2018, he studied metalsmithing & jewelry at Macchiarini Creative Design to expand the breadth of his creative study.
Kiran routinely shows artwork in galleries all across San Francisco. He is also the producer behind the popular Swag Art event which features local artists & musicians in the San Francisco Bay Area.
